Our programming kicks ass!

At StrengthRx CrossFit, we take great pride in our programming and truly believe that it is the heart of what makes us so effective.

Our members have enjoyed countless personal bests through our signature six-week cycles, rotating the emphasis from classic strength training to Olympic weightlifting with basic gymnastics peppered throughout.

Although our workouts vary day-to-day, a typical class looks something like this:

  • 10 minutes -- Warm-up
  • 5 minutes -- Workout overview/movement drills
  • 15-20 minutes -- Strength or skill training
  • 10-20 minutes -- Metabolic conditioning (met-con)
  • 5 minutes -- Stretch/cool down

Before entering into our CrossFit Mixed Level program, new SRXers must schedule a free Intro Session and Movement Assessment with one of our trainers.

This 30-minute chat is simply an introductory session with one of our head coaches. Through these one-on-one conversations, we can assess what level you're at physically, and discuss where you want to be as a result of improved fitness and nutrition.

The Next Step

So your Intro Session and Movement Assessment has concluded and now you're totally engaged in taking on this crossfit adventure. Fantastic! So what's the next step? Learn the fundamentals.

Our Fundamentals program can be completed in as little as one week and consists of four essential sessions. Each course progresses you toward our CrossFit classes by teaching the components necessary to excel in SRX training.

All four fundamental training classes must be completed, as they will take you through the foundational movements that we incorporate in our everyday programming.

The weekly schedule for our fundamental classes lines-up like this:

  • Wednesdays at 7pm -- Body weight movements
  • Thursdays at 8pm -- Deadlifts, front squats and cleans
  • Saturdays at 12pm -- Overhead squats and snatches
  • Sundays at 12pm -- Overhead presses and jerks

Times don't work for you?

No problem!

Our fundamentals courses are essential prerequisites to entering our full mixed level programming, so it's important that you learn the basics before you suit up for the game.

If the times we provide don't work for you we also offer private fundamental instruction for $45 per class (a 30-minute session with one of our head coaches).

Please note: All four fundamental classes must be completed; through either our Fundamentals program, four private sessions, or a combination of group classes and personal instruction.

Test-Out Option

Are you already a trained athlete looking to join the SRX family?

If you're an experienced crossfitter, you may opt to test out of our fundamental class requirements.

How do you do that?

By successfully demonstrating a clean, a snatch and a jerk with a standard olympic bar, on-cue, with no assistance from an SRX coach.
